Each year the GPPC funds a range of public philosophy events around the greater Philadelphia area. Faculty and students organizers at GPPC member institutions are encouraged to apply for funding (the only restriction is that events should be free and open to the public). Typical funding levels range from $500-$2,500 depending on the type of event. Organizers are encouraged to seek matching funds from their departments or colleges.
Proposals for the next academic year should be submitted by either October 31 (for consideration at our fall directors meeting) or April 1 (for consideration at our spring directors meeting).
